Diana accepts briefs in all areas of law. She has extensive experience in media and defamation law, as well as a particular interest in commercial law, intellectual property law, consumer law and administrative and public law.
With over 15 years practice as a solicitor before coming to the Bar, Diana has been a special counsel at a top tier boutique law firm as well as a senior associate in the litigation team at a large top tier law firm. Over that time, she has acted in commercial litigation, contractual matters and countless defamation disputes, including on appeal. Diana has regularly provided urgent pre-publication legal advice to media organisations, as well as advising and acting on suppression orders, non-publication orders and access to court documents in a wide variety of jurisdictions.
She was previously an Associate to the Hon Justice Arthur Emmett AO in the Federal Court of Australia.
Diana graduated from the University of Sydney with first class honours in law.
