Justine is a commercial silk practising nationally with a particular focus on intellectual property (including patents, copyright, trade marks, passing off and confidential information) and competition and consumer law.
Her expertise has been recognised in all the major legal directories including as a ‘leading’ silk for Intellectual Property in Doyles Guide and in ‘Best Lawyers’ in three categories: Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law and Telecommunications Law.
Justine was called to the Bar in 2008 after a career at Allens. She was appointed Senior Counsel in 2022.
She has appeared for participants in a wide range of industries such as the media (including free-to-air and pay television, radio, print and online media), film, music, technology, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, consumer goods, real estate, food, beverage, sports and fitness industries, as well as for Government.
She also has experience in substantial commercial arbitrations and in advising major international corporations in Parliamentary Inquiries.
