Justine Beaumont was called to the Bar in 2008 after a career at Allens. She was appointed Senior Counsel in 2022
Justine Beaumont has over 30 years of commercial litigation experience, with a particular focus on intellectual property (including copyright, trade marks, patents, passing off and confidential information), competition and consumer law and media, technology and telecommunications law. She also has considerable experience in dealing with urgent injunction applications, especially in the Federal Court.
Justine has appeared for participants in a wide range of industries such as the media (including free-to-air and pay television, radio, print and online media), film, music, technology, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, consumer goods, real estate, sports and fitness industries, as well as for Government. She also has experience in substantial commercial arbitrations.
Her expertise has been recognised in all the major legal directories including Doyle’s Guide, Chambers and Partners Global, The Legal 500 and Best Lawyers.
